Awaken Your Inner Italian
HANDCRAFTED LIMONCELLO AND IMPORTED WINES
A family owned business, the inspiration for our brand was our ancestor Ludovici Arnette who was born in Naples Italy in1843. As an apprentice craftsman he followed his padrone to Newcastle upon Tyne where he learnt his craft as part of an elite team, who adorned the architecture of the city’s iconic buildings with ornate Italian architrave. Enjoying his new life, he settled in the Italian Quarter, where on 18th July 1865 he married his sweet heart Isabella in a small chapel on Pilgrim Street. To share a part of his beloved Italy with new found friends, he imported four crates of Sorrento lemons and using a family recipe produced a batch of traditional handmade limoncello to celebrate the occasion. This recipe, passed from generation to generation, is now produced by our family, using traditional methods, for you to enjoy today.

When Life Gives You
Lemons, Make Limoncello
For as long as I can remember my family has gathered in the kitchen to make my Great Great Grandfathers limoncello. Many happy hours have been spent with us all chatting around a wooden table, zesting lemons or filling and labelling bottles. Every year we would make a batch of limoncello for Christmas, save half for ourselves and give the rest away to family and friends.
